I have a new Wifi and I followed the instructions on the Wireless Printer Setup but a prompt asks for username and password. This also applies when I tried changing USB to Wireless connection, it asks for a password. I tried typing 12345678 or admin but it doesn't work.

@A_28, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Let us try resetting the printer to its factory settings that will reset these credentials.

While applying power, press WI-FI Direct + Color Copy icon on the printer's control panel.

Retry the wireless setup.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

This still pops up. I don't remember adding a password to my printer.

Thanks! I just ignored/cancelled the pop-up but I can already print using Wi-Fi.
