I'm in a corporate environment and am trying to install a printer driver for a MFP E877 on MacOS Sequoia.  When I go to the driver download page it lists no drivers for MacOS.  I then took another approach and tried to use the HP Easy Start application.  This failed for me because it couldn't find the printer on our corporate network.  I can reach the printer using the MacOS generic printer driver, so I know the printer is reachable and I know its IP address.
Why doesn't Easy Start let me specify the IP if I know it?

I'm left in a position now with no printer driver.  Why doesn't HP have MacOS drivers and/or why doesn't Easy Start work in a corporate environment.

Can anyone help?

Apple's recommend solution is AirPrint. The 877 series is listed as supported

The recommended solution requires WiFI and I'm on a wired network, so I still need a recommendation.

Doesn't HP support MacOS any longer?  How could a relatively modern printer not have Mac print drivers?
