Product: HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a

I installed a driver for this printer on my macbook air and it has an option for scanning. When I installed the driver on my iMac it never had an option to scan. So each time I have to scan a doc I have to open up my laptop. So today, I decided to download the driver. I was trying to complete the setup of HP Easy Start and there's a page dedicate to the HP Improvement Study. There's a random box, where you can't type anything, but it's requiring you type something to move forward in the process. So frustrating. How do I get past this?
