Downloaded driver, but when I click on the get installer button to start process it goes to www.hp.com where it says, "page can't be reached" Any suggestions?

Hi @Rich9923,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting your HP Photosmart C4180 All-in-One printer to operate. Printer issues can be frustrating, but there are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the problem.
Here's a general troubleshooting guide.
Check Power and Connections:
- Ensure that the printer is properly plugged into a power source and turned on.
- Verify that all cables (USB, power) are securely connected to both the printer and your computer.
Restart Your Printer:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on. This can often resolve minor glitches.
Check for Error Messages:
- Look at the printer's display or any error lights for messages that might indicate what the problem is.
Install or Update Printer Drivers:
- Make sure you have the correct printer drivers installed on your computer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.
Clear Print Queue:
- Sometimes, print jobs can get stuck in the print queue and prevent new jobs from printing. Clear the print queue on your computer.
- For Windows: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click on your printer, and select "See what's printing." Then click on "Printer" and choose "Cancel All Documents."
- For Mac: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and click on "Open Print Queue." Then, click on the "X" next to any pending print jobs.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer's paper path.
Check Ink or Toner Levels:
- If your printer uses ink or toner cartridges, check that they have sufficient ink/toner. Replace cartridges if they are empty.
Reset the Printer:
- Refer to your printer's manual to perform a factory reset or a specific reset procedure if necessary.
Reinstall the Printer:
- If none of the above steps work, you may need to uninstall the printer from your computer and then reinstall it.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
