I cannot print from my laptop to my HP8034e printer.  I t has printed fine until a week ago.  Now when I go to print it wants to send to print to my Iphone app.  It printed off of it 2-3 days and now will not print from it either.  I have uninstalled the printer and reinstalled

Hi @Flip495 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8034e All-in-One Printer and have already tried reinstalling it without success, here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:

Check Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your laptop. If it's a wireless connection, make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your laptop.

Default Printer Settings:

  • Verify that the HP OfficeJet Pro 8034e is set as the default printer on your laptop.
    • On Windows: Go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Printers & scanners." Select your printer and click on "Manage." Make sure "Set as default" is checked.
    • On Mac: Go to "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners." Select your printer and click on the "Default printer" dropdown to ensure it's set as the default.

Printer Status:

  • Check the printer for any error messages or issues. Ensure that it has paper, ink, and is not displaying any errors.

Printer Queue:

  • Clear the print queue on your laptop. Sometimes, pending print jobs can cause issues.
    • On Windows: Go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Printers & scanners." Select your printer, click on "Open queue," and cancel any pending jobs.
    • On Mac: Go to "System Preferences" > "Printers & Scanners." Select your printer, click on "Open Print Queue," and cancel any pending jobs.

Update Drivers:

  • Make sure you have the latest drivers for your printer installed. Visit the official HP website to download and install the latest drivers for your specific printer model.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both your laptop and the HP OfficeJet Pro 8034e printer. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.

Firewall/Antivirus:

  • Check if your firewall or antivirus software is blocking the communication between your laptop and the printer. Temporarily disable them and try printing again.

Reinstall Printer Software:

  • Uninstall the printer software completely from your laptop. Then, reinstall the latest version of the software from the HP website.

Printer Network Settings:

  • On the printer, check the network settings to ensure it's connected to the correct network. You may need to reconfigure the wireless settings if necessary.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
