Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to install the HP smart app from the 123.hp.com webpage.

I keep getting an error. 

The download does not start. 

Error message: "Couldn't install. We'll retry shortly"

Printer cannot be found on my devices or programs.

Please make sure that the printer and the PC is on the same network.

Please try this link  https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06184808 .

 

If it fails you may want to try connecting the printer to you mobile phone.

The printer, the laptop and my cell phone are all on the home network.

 

I have already connected my cell phone to my printer.

 

I need to connect my laptop to the printer but I cant install the HP Smart App.
