Can't install LJ M110we

Attempts to install an M110we printer are failing. I've downloaded the offline package and tried that with no luck. Printer is connected via USB. Printer shows up in Devices and Printers but doesn't print,

So, I have uninstalled the driver and package, uninstalled HP Smart, powered down the printer, disconnected it, restarted the computer, re-connected the printer, turned it on, Restarted the downloaded package and it sees the printer then hangs looking for software. Eventually the printer shows up in D&P but it won't print.

Very frustrating. Any suggestions

Even if using USB connection the printer still have to be connected to a live internet connection

The computer it's attached to has a live internet connection

the status of the computer is immaterial, the printer must be connected to the internet directly as well.

So if there's no wireless available, for example in a job site trailer, this printer can 't be installed?
