Hi! I'm having trouble installing the PCL3 driver for my plotter, what I have tried:
Using the "Add printer" function of Windows 10, then manually selecting the *.inf file (hpi2144.inf) from the extracted win-x64-pcl3-drv folder.
The HP DesignJet T730 PCL3 is simply not listed only the standard HP DesignJet T730 V4 driver (which I don't need)
Can anybody help me out?

Hi @gessler ,
Try the driver download from next link:
>> HP DesignJet and PageWide XL Windows Printer Driver installer

The V4 driver posted is a PCL3 language driver. Do not confuse the V3/V4 driver designation with the PCL language as they are different things and you can get V4 drivers that use different PCL coding. Below is the driver information tab after installing the V4 driver on my system.

The link gives me a file not found error
OK, I'll try to explain my problem another way.
My old driver gave me this configuration window:
Here I had configured all my paper sizes and it worked alright
The new driver gives me this interface:
1. If I use this driver I have to reenter ALL my papersizes again.
2. This driver gives me all kind of meaningless error messages like "printer has no paper" (there IS paper, the size of the plot fits, the print preview looks normal)
