I get error messages when I try to print a document from my computer, saying that if I continue, it may damage my computer. Then the printing fails. I get this message in the print progress box. "One or more components of the HP printing software are corrupted or missing. The print job cannot be completed. To fix this situation, HP recommends reinstalling the print driver software."
I have tried all the fixes ShlomiL has suggested.
I am running 10.15.7.
The uninstall got stuck at the end each time. I tried 2 versions and 3 times and left it 30 minutes. I ended up force quitting. The printer was absent from the system preferences list, so I assume the uninstall worked well enough.
I downloaded the software HP offers for this model.
I re-added my printer which showed up when I plugged the printer into the computer.
I still cannot print. ShlomiL please help!
I also tried the test printing that prints without the driver software and it's perfect. A visitor was able to print through Linux operating system on his pc computer.
(I made a new thread as I don't see a way I am able to respond to old threads or message someone, but I am able to start a new thread, so I did.)

I fixed this issue!!! I uninstalled with the HP Uninstaller, that never ran all the way to the very end, but seemed to be good enough. Found this older version of the software, reinstalled as ShlomiL suggested in other posts. And it worked. I am very, very happy and I hope this helps others too.!
