All of a sudden, Word doesn't see my printer. Have used system restore to no avail. I uninstalled the printer -- MFP M277dw -- and cannot now reinstall it. Followed all instructions in the chat for installation (disconnect router, clean temp, disconnect printer, etc). D/led the latest driver package, the install gets to a certain point and then "fatal error."When I try to sue "add a printer" in Control Panel, it says that the print spooler service is not running. Constant problem with print spooler service stopping and having to be restarted--it won't stay started.
NEVER THOUGHT I'D FERVENTLY WISH FOR 'PHONE SUPPORT.

I've done everything suggested by HP on the site. I've done all the tricks I've learned since Win 3.1 -- I survived 3.1 -- red/ling the driver package etc, trying both usb and wireless (usb akes a Looooong time to get through the setup, and then "fatal error" after 80+% install; wireless sets up quickly, but "fatal error" after about 3% of install.)

Thanks for your return,
Be sure to use a 2.4 GHz wireless network only, and when installing the printer using the USB cable, only connect the USB cable it when prompted to do so by the installer.
The software uninstall or install process does not start or an error displays while uninstalling, download and use Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed, and then try installing again.
Cheers,
