HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 All-in-One
macOS 12.0 Monterey

I use a Mac running MacOS 12.5 and I have a  HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 All-in-One
When I install HP Smart from the AppStore it opens and a circle then spins forever inside the box
I need to use the scanning feature within the app
The Web Scan option seems to cancel the scan if you leave the scanning tab

I've delete the app, rebooted installed again and it still does the same thing

Anyone have any suggestions please?

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are unable to use the HP Smart app, and I am glad to assist you.

Update the Mac OS

  1. From the Apple menu in the corner of your screen, choose System Preferences.
  2. Click Software Update in the System Preferences window. Can't find Software Update?
  3. Software Update now checks for new software.

Update the printer firmware to install the latest updates

Here are the steps:- Click here

Update the HP Smart app, if the issue persists

Please delete it from /Users/Username/Library/Application Support/HP Smart. Then delete HP Smart from the Applications folder and reinstall from the Mac App Store.

Keep me posted.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
