Can you printer borderless on a custom paper size (ex. I'm trying to print borderless on a half-sheet: 5.5 x 8.5)

I'm trying to print borderless (full-bleed to the paper edge) on a half-sheet (an open A2 Card (5.5" x 8.5). I've selected/set up Custom Page Size with no margins and no border (tried it with each option: Fit, Shrink oversize pages, Actual Size, Custom Scale at 100% and Choose Paper Source by PDF Size) and it displays as borderless in print preview, but it prints with a white border -- won't print full bleed image to edges.
