I have a 3758 printer hooked up to my laptop and all works fine. But I don't really want to print copies of my documents; I want to convert them to PDF format.
Is there a way to retrieve scan files from the printer rather than printing them?
I guess I'm really asking if the 3758 can be used as a scanner.
Thanks!

Thank you, but I'm not sure you understand.
I am not trying to print a document from my laptop.
I want to:
1. Scan the document on the 3758 printer.
2. Move the scan file from the printer to my laptop.
3. Then I can print it as PDF.
But first I have to get it from the 3758 onto my laptop.

Hi peterinwa ,
Once, you have installed the full SW as what 小熊牛牛 instructed you.
You may refer to below link on how to use the printer scanner and perform scan using HP Scan application.

Hope this helps!
