Hi @NYCypher,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand need information on changing the settings on HP Smart App. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

Please try the below steps -

  1. Open HP Smart on your device.
  2. Select the picture or document you like to print.
  3. Select print.
  4. Select the paper size you like.
  5. Select more options
  6. Under scaling select fit to page.
  7. Go back select print.

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!

When you say "select the paper size"  Do you mean the actual paper size I have or the size id like the image to print?

My papersize is a4 or letter and scale has no option to print various sizes like 4×6

@NYCypher,

Thank you for your response, select the paper size present in the input tray. So if you have a picutre size of 4x6 and want to print that on a A4 size paper then you may use scale to fit option.

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!

No. I have a very large image and want to print it smaller.

@NYCypher,

Thank you for your response, then you have to resize the image on your device using Microsoft word or Microsoft Paint and then try to print.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
