HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. My printer worked fine, wirelessly, until 3 days ago. I've spend much of those 3 days trying to fix it, to no avail. I've uninstalled/reinstalled it many times. I've tried HP Smart & installing just basic drivers many times. The driver installs & printer works when connected w/a USB cable but not wirelessly.  My printer is connected to my network; my pc is connected to the same network; and my printer is "on", "awake" and connected to the network. I did manage once or twice to install the scanner (w/the option to install fax) -- sorry, I don't remember which software enabled me to do that - probably Basic Drivers. At that point, HP Smart could tell me how much ink the my printer had, and yet it could not find the printer when I tried to "add printer" or to "setup printer."   Easy Install could "see" the printer and install whatever that software installs, before telling me I need to finish installation w/HP Smart. But as I said, HP Smart would just tell me that the printer offline"(because no driver) and could not find the printer when I tried to install the driver. I just can't figure it out. Nothing changed since 3 days ago (other than the printer stopped working, leading to the past many hours of efforts to fix it), so I fail to see how it is not a software (rather than a hardware) issue. I  have tried everything suggested in HP Smart, Easy Install, and HP Web Support, not to mention suggestions on other web sites.  Can someone help? !
