macOS 10.15 Catalina

Error Message: "This feature was locked or disabled by the device administrator.  You cannot use this function because it has been locked or disabled.  For more information, contact the person who setup the printer."

 

Changes to the system before the issue occurred: Went from mac Mojave to mac Catalina - and - moved fro Germany to the USA and back to  Germany.
I own this printer and am the administrator.  Please help me reset my printer so I can set it up again to run perfect like it did before i moved around.
 
Hope someone can help me get this printer unlocked.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

Resetting the printer to its factory settings may help to resolve this issue.

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
