Hello all,

This one is probably something simple but here I am asking the group. I have a networked plotter on our network, once I place our password on the EWS the browser will lock up and no dialog box is offered for the admin password when selected. Nothing happens, I have tried Edge and Chrome, and the funny thing is the EWS will react to Safari on my work phone. The dialog box will open and accept the password and I can make changes in EWS. For the other browsers, I have disabled popups and redirects and added the IP to accepted websites. When using our standard browsers it will start in HTTP and once I start the security piece of locking down the printer it goes to HTTPS. Unfortunately, no one can access the EWS or its functions when security is added.  Has anyone run into or seen this before? We run a lot of HP products here and their EWS systems do not interfere with our Admin password. I even changed the password as a test to 13 characters to see if that helped and wasn't causing a buffer overflow but it's stuck like Chuck, can anyone offer some insight? Thank you for reading this novel in advance.
