I cannot access my scanner because the HP smart software will not login.  it says Loading HP cloud services then crashes .  It does the little loading circle then after a few minutes it just shuts down no message or anything  I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it.  At times it will get an error message saying it can't connect

It appears on the day I posted this HP Smart was having a problem with their servers.  It has since then fixed itself.

HP obviously has a problem with their smart app. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Guess we'll just have to wait till they get it fixed. Jeezzzzz

Same issue here.  Started today 2/22/2021.  Only change was a Windows 10 update yesterday.  Not sure if that was related.  Check your programs menu, under HP there might be a separate utility "HP scan" which you can use, rather than getting to the Scan function via HP Smart.

Same issue exactly.

I can print, but Windows fax & scan doesn't recognize the scanner w/in the printer, so I'm unable to scan at all.

Have uninstalled/reinstalled HP Smart, checked for driver updates, power cycled, etc.
