Hi,

I had to reconfigure/reset my router/wifi.  Now I cannot connect my printer to it.  I don't know why but connecting HP printers to your wifi network is always very difficult.

I have looked through several posts on this forum and tried all the different ways suggested.  I also did a factory reset on the printer.

It is not connecting.

Please help.

Nevermind.  I figured it out.  My printer only connects to wifi 2.4 ghz and I only had 5g enabled.  I

That's why my wifi name wasn't showing up under the local wifis in 'Wireless Configuration' in the printer settings or in the HP Easy Start computer app.

I went into the wireless configuration of my modem to enable 2.4ghz.  Then my wifi showed up when I was trying to connect my printer to the wifi.

*By the way, I have HP Smart app installed and it's completely unhelpful, especially for connection issues.  I was unaware of the HP Easy Start app.  It's a shame they can't just use one app for everything.
