HP Deskjet 3510 e-All-in-One Printer

I recently got a new router and changed the network password.  My Deskjet 3510 can no longer connect to my network.  The configuration report shows that it sees the network but is not connecting.  I can see no way to enter the new password in the wireless options on the printer control panel.  I found an HP support document that instructed me to 1) "restore Wi-Fi setup mode" from the printer control panel and 2) install the HP Smart app and use it to set up the printer.  I do not have the "restore Wi-Fi setup mode"  option on my control panel. My printer may pre date that option.  I restored to factory defaults instead.  I installed the HP Smart app on my Mac.  However, the app searches for my printer and cannot find it.  It seems that it requires bluetooth turned on on the printer to find it.  But this printer does not have bluetooth capabilities.  How can I get this printer to connect to the network again?

Refer to this KB article. https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Knowledge-Base/Wi-Fi-connection-is-lost-after-router-or-netwo...

it should enable you to return the printer to the original wireless setup mode so you can add a new password.

I’ve read those articles and they are no help. My printer is about 10 years old. These articles deal with options that are not available on my printer, like the Wireless Setup Wizard.

Have you tried following the instructions in the user guide http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03471705.pdf for setting up the printer via WPS mode?

I have tried setting up the printer access using WPS mode with the Push option.  The printer cannot find the router, even when they are next to each other.  I can't use the PIN option because I don't know the configuration page for the router.  I will have to call Spectrum.  It's probably easier to get a new printer!
