Cannot find HP driver for Windows 10

Windows installed the hp driver for 1500 instead of 2500

HP PSC 2500 Photosmart All-in-One Printer series does not have a driver for Windows10.

However, you can try Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver.

Thank you for your help. However my problem is strange.

I have two recent laptops connected to the same hp psc 2510 printer by WiFi.

I use Windows 10 64 bits on both.

In one the driver downloaded is 2500:it works well.

In the other Windows found only the drivers 1500 or 1600. I installed the 1500 and it works well.

Impossible to find anywhere the driver for the psc 2510. 

When I use Windows update either it gives me the drivers for the 1500 or it says try later we cannot connect now.

What is going on?

As I said this printer do not have drivers for Windows 10.

An alternate solution wat I can give is to copy the downloaded file from the other computer and install it on the one which is not working.

Or you can try Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver.

I suspect that there should be a conflict between Microsoft and HP: HP does not allow anymore Microsoft to have access to the printers drivers. Otherwise how could you explain that two months ago you could get the HP psc 2500 drivers from Windows 10 and now it is impossible?

Anyhow this is not so important for me: the drivers for the psc 1500 are basic and make the printer work. Fortunately I have other printers for non basic problems. 

Your suggestion to transfer from one laptop to the other one, if necessary, is a good suggestion.
