Cannot get printer deskjet 3632 working

My cousin gave me her printer as she bought new one. It printed info sheets fine until I tried to register it on my account. The HP set up will not come up in WiFi. The he printer cartridge empty lights are now flashing and an orange light flashing just under display. The WiFi direct symbol is flashing too. I rang HP and they told me the printer was still on my cousins account attached to her email ( it’s not) they tried to put back to factory settings by unplugging the lead from the back and then press cancel button and WiFi button together for 5 seconds. The printer does nothing. The technical support guy said his is impossible and I must be pressing wrong buttons!! I’m not. 
they have said they will have to try tomorrow! 2 weeks this has been going on now. Can anyone help me ?

Hi Ronnie ,

I wish it would work but it won’t. It will not give me the set up WiFi  only  DIR-99. 
money the phone with HP they tried to do factory reset but anything we do the WiFi will not disconnect. .

it worked fine until I tried to register it and couldn’t because it says it’s still attached to my cousins account when it’s not!! Think I’m just going to have to change to normal ink and not instant ink.
