When I use the "Show printer web page" link in my printer system settings, all I get is a blank page with a nonsensical address (http://hpe8d8d1b20be7.local./#hId-pgAirPrint).  How can I correct this, and get to the correct printer web page?

I also can't seem to get a usable print driver download from the HP Support page - it says the download is damaged and can't be used, so I can't try this.  But I don't normally manually download HP printer software, the macOS updates seem to do this for me.

I'm using macOS Ventura 13.5.1.

That was a good address at one time but the modem must have released a new IP address and that one is no good anymore.  Alternately you are using WiFi-direct and the printer needs to be online and connected to the PC before the web page shows up.

If you know what the IP4 address is then just edit that address and change it.

Wi-Fi setup using smartphone.  This connects the printer to the modem.

Thanks for the reply.   I got the IP address from the printer (192.168.0.115), and entered it in a new browser window, and got to the same (almost) blank page that I originally got.    The page is not quite totally blank, but shows a black band about ½ inch wide right across near the top.   Then I restarted the printer (again), and now the correct page comes up.    It seems it was a problem within the printer, rather than the inability of the computer to access the printer.

Anyway, we're good now, and thanks again.
