I know this must be a common problem:

Installing a second home PC.  Old PC is wirelessly connected to modem, as is 8630.  Am unable to install drivers and other Windows 11 8630 software on new PC. 

 

First of all, how do I show it connected?  My choices are Wirelessly, ethernet, or USB.  I have tried wirelessly a number of times, and install fails.

HP Smart sees the printer, but says it needs driver installed.  When I attempt to install driver from Smart, it fails. 

 

Device manager shows no printer installed.  On other PC in house with Windows 11, printer shows in device manager, with sub-entries for Class Driver and printer itself.

 

Have no idea what to do - this should be simple ...
