Hi, there are two problems of my printer.
1. Installation
My laser printer cannot be installed in my own laptop. My laptop is MacOS 11.6.
2. two-sided printing by HP Smart
Sometimes, there is no "two-sided printing" choice in Hp Smart. I don't know how to set it.

@Amy1997, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to install the printer on the Mac. There is no driver available on the HP Support site to work on macOS 11.6 for this model printer due to its age.
However, this is an AirPrint compatible printer. Hence, install the printer using the AirPrint driver on the Mac.
Did you download and install the HP Smart app from the App store? Check if there are updates available for the HP Smart app from the App Store.
Check for any software updates on Mac
Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.
1.) Click the Apple menu, click System Preferences, and then click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
2.) Check if your printer name displays in the Printers list, If your printer is listed, click the printer name, click the minus sign to delete the printer.
3.) If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers by selecting them one at a time, and then clicking the minus button at the bottom of the list.
4.) Click the plus sign click Add Printer or Scanner, click the printer name.
5.) Click the Use or Print Using menu, select AirPrint in the pop-up menu. Then click Add.
Note: Select "Bonjour multifunction" under kind while installing.
Try printing.
According to the printer specifications, this model printer supports printing on both sides of the paper.
To know how to print on both sides also depends on what type of document you are trying to print.
For assistance, refer to - Print on both sides of the paper with an HP printer
