Hi @GSK9999,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing issues logging into the HP Smart app to scan documents, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Check Network Connection: Ensure that your device is connected to the internet and that your Wi-Fi or data connection is stable.
  • Update HP Smart App: Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your device. Sometimes, outdated versions can cause login issues.
  • Restart the App: Close the HP Smart app completely and then reopen it. Sometimes, simply restarting the app can resolve temporary glitches.
  • Restart Device: Restart your smartphone, tablet, or computer to refresh the system and clear any temporary issues.
  • Clear App Cache (Android): If you're using an Android device, try clearing the cache and data of the HP Smart app. You can do this by going to Settings > Apps > HP Smart > Storage > Clear Cache/Clear Data.
  • Check HP Smart Account Credentials: Double-check that you're entering the correct email address and password associated with your HP Smart account. If you're unsure, try resetting your password.
  • Verify HP Smart Account: Make sure your HP Smart account is active and in good standing. You can do this by logging into your account via a web browser.
  • Check HP Smart Service Status: Sometimes, HP Smart services may experience downtime or maintenance.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve the login issues with the HP Smart app.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
