Cannot print pdfs

Suddenly, I can no longer print pdfs.  This is the case from all computers.  Can print MSOffice files and most eMails (Although I am sometimes only getting a solid black printout).

I have run the HP troubleshoot and it reports no printer problems.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer several times, but the problem persists.

Actually, further info.  I have discovered the PDF print problem ties back to two banking sites, Bank of America and Wells Fargo.  Can view and save their PDF statements and credit card bills but cannot print them.  Impossible to reach a living human being at BoA (either locally or at national numbers) to get any assistance.  Spoke at length with Wells Fargo, but they do not make technical support available to the caller, so customer service reps have to act as go betweens, which works very poorly.

The Tech Support people (through cust service reps), simply said my computer or printer had to be at fault (although they will print all other PDFs (including bills) I get from other companies.  Have the same problem with both of my computers, and the problem developed at both simultaneously.

A common thread which may point to Microsoft, I believe MS dumped another significant Windows update prior to the development of this printer problem.  Again, seems to only affect two banking sites I use.

Bill Gates needs to stay out of trying to run the world and fix his own @#$X company.  Windows hasn't worked well since the abomination called Windows 8 came along (the preceeding was an editorial comment).
