HP DeskJet 2624 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit)

I dont understand this. Before purchasing this printer, I read the minimum requirements to make sure it would work with my Windows Vista 64Bit Laptop and it says right on this box "Minimum System Requirements Windows Vista (32-bit) * 2 GB HD * Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 * CD-Rom/DVD or Internet  * USB". I meet all these requirements, yet when I go to 123.hp.com as instructed after turning on the printer, I get, "We’re sorry—We don’t support this operating system." this makes absolutely no sense when it says right on the box it is compatible.  How do I get the drivers for this printer? I need them. I cant use this printer on my computer until I get them becuase my computer cant find this printer without them. HELP!

I am sorry to bear bad news.

Vista 64bit is not the same as Vista 32bit.

This printer provides support for Vista 32bit.

Well, guess Ill be returning this back to best buy, and have to buy an an old one on ebay. No money for HP. Thats what they want. they purposely want to ailienate users thinking that the majoirity of people are just stupid enough to keep buying computers and keep buying new OS when they have perfectly good working machines and OS. Well thats not me and thats not alot of people who have any sense, so HP will keep loosing money. its been grand, but so long HP

Yes, if you cannot use the printer, it is best to return it.

Check the Specfications on any printer (of any brand).  Few enough printers support the Vista 64bit OS that it is worth the extra minutes to be sure.
