Whenever I try to finish setting up my printer in the HP smart app, I get an error on my printer (error E) and my phone shows error code EBS00P0007. Could anybody help please because I can't order ink.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP DeskJet 2710e All-In-One Printer, printer (error E) and your phone shows Error Code: EBS00P0010 Printer using the HP Smart app on your Android device. The error code E and the error code EBS00P0007 indicate that there might be a connectivity issue or an error during the setup process. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
1) Take out the cartridges. -
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
Let's perform a power drain:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove the USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle
Update the printer firmware
- Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product

- Check Network Connection: Ensure that both your printer and your Android device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, connectivity issues arise if the devices are on different networks.
- Restart Devices: Try restarting both your printer and your Android device. This can sometimes resolve temporary connectivity issues.
- Reinstall HP Smart App: Uninstall the HP Smart app from your Android device and reinstall it from the Google Play Store. Sometimes, reinstalling the app can resolve software-related issues.
- Reset Printer Network Settings: You can try resetting the network settings on your HP DeskJet 2710e printer. Refer to your printer's user manual HP DeskJet 2710e All-in-One Printer user manual
- Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the printer's firmware might resolve compatibility issues and improve performance. Software and Drivers for HP DeskJet 2710e All-in-One Printer
