Hi @RPlasko,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you want to change the country/region setting on your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M227fdw. Let’s go through the steps to do this.

Access the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Make sure the printer is connected to your network.

On a computer connected to the same network, open a web browser.

Enter the printer’s IP address in the address bar (find it on the printer’s control panel under Wireless > Network Summary or Settings > Network).

Press Enter to open the printer’s Embedded Web Server.

Log In (if required)

If prompted, enter the admin password.

Default is usually blank or “admin” (check your printer documentation if unsure).

Navigate to Regional Settings

In the EWS, go to Settings > System Setup > Country/Region (or similar; menu labels may vary slightly).

Select the Correct Country/Region

Choose the country or region you want from the list.

Click Apply or Save Changes.

Restart the Printer

Power off the printer, wait 30 seconds, then power it back on to ensure the change takes effect.

Verify the Change

Print a Configuration Page from Reports > Configuration Page on the printer’s control panel.

Confirm that the country/region is updated correctly.

I hope this helps.
