We have over 1,000 LaserJet printers of various models. We also have the latest version of Web Jetadmin set up. We're wanting to change the admin password on all of our Laserjet printers. I've been looking in Web Jetadmin to see if it can be used to change the admin password on all these printers, hopefully through something like a template and scheduled task - but unless I'm just blind or something, I'm not seeing anything in Web Jetadmin where this can be done. Am I missing something? Or can this not be done? We have over 500 Kyocera copiers also, and just found out that changing the admin password on them has to be done one at a time through the web interface of each individual copier. Please don't tell me it's the same for all these LaserJet printers.

Setting the EWS password is supported. If you reference the manual here http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01840761.pdf it will discuss all supported options. Do you already have a password set? If yes you may need to manually clear passwords on devices with an existing password.

I found where to change the password after looking at the PDF you mentioned. I don't know if I just wasn't looking in the correct place, or if I just didn't see it because it was the end of the day and my brain was fried - but THANK YOU for pointing me in the right direction!
