Hi @LFRANK1,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are trying to connect your HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer to a new Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
Reset Network Settings:
- Turn on the printer.
- On the printer’s control panel, press and hold the Wireless button (the one with the Wi-Fi symbol) and the Cancel button (the red X) simultaneously for about 3 seconds. This will reset the network settings on the printer.
Connect to New Wi-Fi Network:
- Make sure your printer is turned on and in a ready state.
- Press the Wireless button on the printer to start the wireless setup. The Wireless light should start blinking, indicating that the printer is searching for a network.
Use the HP Smart App:
- Ensure you have the HP Smart app installed on your computer or mobile device. If not, download it from the HP website or your device’s app store.
- Open the HP Smart app and click on Add Printer or +.
- The app should detect the printer. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Use the Printer’s Control Panel:
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless setup menu. This might be found under a Setup or Network menu, depending on your model.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard. The printer will search for available networks.
- Select your new Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
Reinstall Printer Software:
- If the above steps do not work, you may need to reinstall the printer software on your computer. This can be done through the HP Smart app or by downloading the latest software from the HP website.
