Hi @ChangzhouChris,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you need to change the display language on your HP LaserJet M1536 printer. By default, these printers come set to the local region language, but you can reset it back and select English.

Factory Reset

Turn the printer off.

Hold down the Right Arrow + Cancel (X) buttons together.

While holding them, turn the printer on.

Keep holding until the display shows Permanent Storage Init or the printer restarts.

This will reset the device and bring up the initial setup menu, where you can choose English as the language.

Alternative (Menu navigation)
If you can still see menus (even in another language):

Press Setup (wrench icon).

Scroll to the last option (System Setup).

Then look for Language/Idioma/语言.

Select English.

A factory reset will erase custom settings like saved fax numbers or network profiles, so you may need to reconfigure them after.

I hope this helps.
