I have 2 identical printers.  I have changed the name in Window's settings, but they still show up with the same name in HP App.  How do I get the app to recognize the different names so I can know which printer I need to select when printing/scanning?

In the HP Smart app there isn't an option to change the printer names. However, you can differentiate between the printer through their serial numbers. This way you may chose the correct printer and scan:

This is so stupid.  I have the same situation - two identical printers but cannot differentiate them in HP Smart.  Very poor software design not to able to do this.  Who wants to look at the serial number each time?
