HP Recommended

I uninstalled anything and everything that had to do with HP. I reinstalled and instead of using HP Smart I used the unsuggested HP Printer Assistant. It showed me pretty much everything that I wanted to see and do.

Of my previous two uninstalls and reinstalls, HP Printer Assistant did not do this and instead asked me if I wanted to connect a device. Not sure why it would do that. 

 

If I was told to use HP Printer Assistant instead of HP Smart, could this situation been solved sooner? Probably.

 

Take away from all of this:
HP Printer Assistant should be used when using a USB

HP Smart should be used when using Wi-Fi
