HP Envy 5010
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I purchased an HP Envy 5010 in Germany and it uses 304 ink cartridges.  I'm now living in the US, where the equivalent cartridge is 65.  However, it gives me an error that the 65 cartridges are not compatible.  How can I update the region settings to install these 65 ink cartridges?

@jingris21, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand you are not able to use the new ink cartridges after moving to a different country. We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.  

  

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.  

  

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link

Thanks for your reply, however I'm not able to access my private messages through the link you provided.  I get this error:

 

"You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action.

Click your browser's Back button to continue."

 

Can you please let me know how to access the solution?  I don't see any private message icon.
