Change printer region

I've bought 107w printer on amazon UAE,and it worked fine with its default toner cartridge (107A)

I didn't find 107A cartridges here and bought 106A (which is officially compatible) which fails to work with 'Invalid Toner' error (error C2-1510)

It turned out the printer was from Singapore which is another region (APJ) than UAE. I suspect the new toner doesn't work because of the region, so please help me with changing it (I saw some responses with the similar issue here)
