I moved from the Netherlands to India and bought the HP ink cartridges for HP2820e. I install but keep getting e0 error. Kindly help to resolve this

From looking at the forum it seems I need to provide some information to the employees so the change can be performed. Can someone contact me to complete this process?

I'd be glad to help you. Please note that HP Printers use different ink cartridges in different regions, and to use the ink cartridges sold in the current region, we need to change the region settings on the printer.

 

I request that you please get back to me with the following information so that I can help you change the region settings on the printer.

 

Do you still have the ink cartridges for both regions

Do you have a printer USB cable?

Which OS is on the PC? Is it Windows or Mac?

Do you have the printer's full feature software and drivers installed on your PC?

Please find the answers below:

Do you still have the ink cartridges for both regions. - YES

Do you have a printer USB cable?  - YES

Which OS is on the PC? Is it Windows or Mac? - WINDOWS

Do you have the printer's full feature software and drivers installed on your PC?  - I have HP SMARTAPP Software installed and the printer is detected in that (It was working fine before I ran out of the ink so I assume the drivers are present). Where can I download the full feature software?

Thank you for letting me know.

Step 2:

 

1) Launch the printer software from the desktop icon or from the Start menu, click Start, All Programs, HP, the Product Name, and then the Product Name again.
 

2) Double-click the Estimated Ink Levels icon in the printer software. The Estimated Ink Levels window opens.
 

3) Press and hold the CTRL and SHIFT keys, and then right-click anywhere in the Estimated Ink Levels window, except for a button. The Set New Region window opens.
 

4) If the Set New Region window fails to open, right-click to the right and left of the Estimated Ink Levels window.
 

5) Take a screenshot of the screen and send it to me in private.

Thanks for sharing the details.. However I am not finding the region settings option. which HP app is to be used?

Please see the screenshot attached. 

 

Which Software needs to be used to get the "Estimated ink levels where the region settings show up/

On the screenshot attached, nothing happens on clicking ctrl+shift+right click
