Change toner density no option available - color laser 150nw

Hi, I'm having a lot of trouble trying to increase the toner density of my laser printer. the option is not available in printer properties also I do not get the option in the Web service online, I also have the easy printer manager app and there is nothing in this also.

I also tried downloading the HP smart app and it just does not detect my printer at all.

Well, this is certainly going to be "any help".

I don't have a laser printer and I may not even understand your question.

Nonetheless, I will attempt an answer.  Smiling.

In general, HP Smart works best with a wired (Ethernet) or Wireless connection.

There is mention of a USB method in the how-to document - honestly, I've never used it.

I've included the links to the documents near the end of this message for your reference.

What else?

I am inferring from your comments that you want to darken the printed output for your document / image.

There is printer software available for your printer:

HP Color Laser 150 Printer series Full Solution Software and Drivers 

When it's working as expected, the software can provide options for black/white and Color printing.

It is not generally a image or document edit software.

That said,

Other printing software does include options to improve / darken / lighten the output.

These options generally available for "image" printing as opposed to document printing.

I am not familiar with "easy printer manager app" and cannot comment on what it does - or does not do.

The following software is pretty good photo printing software.

It is free, too.

The software will likely work with your printer.

How to find Help within the Irfanview software

Once installed, open the software > tab Help

Example help entry:

Vertical/Horizontal Flip

• Click on the Image Menu, then Vertical Flip. The image will turn upside-down. The left/right orientation will stay the same.
• Click on the Image Menu, then Horizontal Flip. The image will turn side-to-side, as in a mirror.

Note: The effect can be used on a smaller portion (rectangle selection) of an image, as well as the entire image.

Reminder:  Some options are printer model dependent!

Hi, thank you for your reply, unfortunately, I think, after further research, this particular model has been discontinued and is not supported in the HP smart app. I think I may just invest in a new printer eventually 😞

Yes, the HP Smart application is nice - easy to use and does include some nice features.

New Printer!

Be sure to check options carefully - printer technology has changed so much in the last couple of years that you could miss out on a feature for simply not knowing it was available.

The proffered "Irfanview" software should work for now.

It "looks" more complicated than it is to actually use it.
