HP ENVY 6032e All-in-One Printer

Recently changed WiFi providers from Virgin to Sky.  Going through HP app, finds printer, finds WiFi, lets me put in WiFi password…. Then a big fat nada ‘ We can’t set up your printer from your mobile device right now’. Please try again later.  It also directs me to 123hp.com to try from a desktop/laptop…… that website doesn’t appear to exist…..

any ideas of where I am going wrong?

Since you changed Wi-Fi providers, the ENVY 6032e probably still has the old Virgin network saved. Try putting the printer back into Wi-Fi setup mode, then open the HP Smart app and add the printer again using your new Sky Wi-Fi and password.

Also make sure your phone is connected to the new Sky Wi-Fi while setting it up, and temporarily disable any VPN on your phone if you use one. The website mentioned is 123.hp.com, which is an HP site, but HP Smart should normally be enough for the setup.

If it still gives you “We can’t set up your printer from your mobile device right now,” restart the printer, phone, and router and try the setup again.
