I just moved form Europe (Belgium) to the USA. I need to rest the region on my printer so I can us 962 ink cartridges instead of 963. When I use 962 it indicated that the cartridge is incompatible. I need to get a code and the steps to reset the region on the printer. I have already change the region in the HP Smart software but that hasn't worked.

Thank you for posting your query. 

I'd be glad to help you. Please note that HP Printers use different ink cartridges in different regions, and to use the ink cartridges sold in the current region, we need to change the region settings on the printer.

 

I request you to please get back to me with the following information, so that I can help you change the region settings on the printer.

 

Do you still have the ink cartridges for both regions

Do you have a printer USB cable?

Which OS is on the PC? Is it Windows or Mac?

Do you have the printer's full feature software and drivers installed on your PC?
