I have an HP Office Jet Pro 8020, I am needing to print a document but it needs to be shifted to the left a few notches as I am printing on a form that needs to be perfectly aligned.  I don't need to do a print alignment, but is it possible to adjust the alignment manually to properly print my document?

I have been through all the printer settings and don't see any options besides doing the full print alignment..

@BH452, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Open the document in your preferred application (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat).

Adjust the page margins manually:

Go to File > Page Setup or Layout.

Increase the left margin and decrease the right margin by a few points to shift content to the left.

If printing a PDF:

Open with Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Go to File > Print > Properties > Advanced or Page Setup.

Uncheck options like “Fit to Page” or “Shrink oversized pages”.

Use “Custom Scale” (e.g., 100%) and try “Print using system dialog” to access driver settings.

In the system print dialog, look for “Layout”, “Advanced”, or “Paper Handling” options where you can fine-tune position (some drivers allow shifting X/Y).

I hope this helps.
