HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer - N911g
Microsoft Windows 11

I want to print a object that I scanned as a jpeg - the actual object is 2.8125 x 1.5625 - but the printer only allows me to put one figure in thedimensi9ons box - If I put in 2.8125 for Width, the Length becomes 2.110 instead of 1.5625; and if I put in 1.5625, the width changes to 2.083  If i try to change the scale,  as different values are put in the scale, the dimensions of Width and Length change (probably in the same proportion as the problem presented itself.  Why can't I dial in the Width and the Length measurements that I want the print to come out?
