HP Envy 5055
Chrome OS

We have two Chromebooks (both only a few years old, both up to date) that cannot find and add the HP Envy 5055 printer.  They are all on the same wireless network.  I've already tried resetting the printer and chromebooks all to default, but no luck.  The printer can be seen by another chromebook in the office, and the two chromebooks previously mentioned can see another printer in the office.  If I manually try to add the printer by IP address, it states it can't find anything at that address.  Is there any else that can be tried?

Nirvana,

Thanks for reaching out.  The issue is happening at one of our properties.  No changes have been made to the printer or the chromebooks (which are up to date with the latest OS version).  It is not a dual-band router.  Unfortunately the steps in the article you linked did not work.

Thanks,

Steve
