HP 6958

I have a HP 6958 that I just bought second hand. I want to set it up on Instant Ink but it doesn't have ink to print so I did the claim code using the webservices function and entered in the information that is supposed to be the first part of the printer email. I also removed the services and tried again and the new code still isn't working. Is there any way to get a claim code without having to print out the sheet?

@Sweetlady75, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are trying to enroll the printer in Instant Ink. The previous owner has to delete the printer from his account.

If the previous owner is unknown, restart web services

Click here to know how to turn off web services. Refer to this document to know how to turn it on.

Refer to - Find the Printer Claim Code and Enrolling in HP Instant Ink

If you are having an issue with claiming the printer, refer to - Having Trouble Claiming Your Printer?

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
