I have a problem with a rogue "device connect" sound when i boot into Win10. I narrowed it down to an 808 error: The print spooler failed to load a plug-in module hpinkstsE111LM.dll, error code 0x7E. See the event user data for context information.
I tried to uninstall the basic HP printer software, but got two errors:
error 2081883393 failed to uninstall device with serial number 6&210A3AB&0&C000
error 2081883393 failed to uninstall device with serial number CN6BG4N0YS0658
and i had to "ignore" them in order to uninstall the driver.
(The serial number of my printer is CN6BG4N0YS; I have no idea what 6&210A3AB&0&C000 refers to)
The driver appears to be uninstalled but i still get the same "device connect" sound when i boot into Win10, and the same 808 error in event viewer.
Can anyone tell me how i can fix this please?
Many thanks.
