Color LaserJet Pro M452dw firmware issues

I need help finding the original firmware for the Color LaserJet Pro M452dw.

The printer was set to automatically upgrade firmware and the printer hasn't been the same since.

I know it's possible to downgrade firmware but I can't seem to find it.

I would highly appreciate any assistance or direction

What do you mean by printer hasn't been the same since updating its firmware? do you experience print quality problems or any other problems?

Any print quality issues are not likely to be caused due to a firmware update.

Please try following the steps to resolve print quality problems:

Thank you for the reply.

After upgrading firmware, the printer seemed ok for a bit, but for some reason the machine restarted on its own two times. now I'm getting the supply error message. I’ll add a picture.

I know what the error is about. Third-party ink. I would like to downgrade the printer to its original firmware.

My sister has an HP Color LaserJet Pro 254dw. She had exactly the same error. we found the original firmware on the internet, we then downgraded to the original firmware and that fixed the issue. BTW, We quickly turned off automatic updates on her printer.

I was hoping to do the same for my printer but I can't find the original firmware. I looked into getting HP ink but @ over $400, I just can’t do that. The printer was very expensive as well. I don’t have the budget for the HP ink.

Can you send me a message concerning how to reset the admin password on an M254dw laser printer. I am sure that I have never seen the admin password. I don't if it was a coincidence that my server went down or a Firmware update(i am sure I did not install any). Repairatrooper solved this for several other users. Could he send me the solution please, Thanks!

I have a Color LaserJet Pro M452dw.

My sister has a M254dw laser printer but we never set up an Admin password.
