HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Envy Photo 7855 All-in-One previously printed in color.  After not using the color option for several weeks, today when I attempted to print in color, it did not.  Printer preferences only showing grayscale option.  My IT department uninstalled the software and reinstalled.  Option still not available. Any suggestions on how to resolve?

It is possible that the driver is failing to recognize that your printer is color capable. Check this: On your computer go to control panel>devices and printers and then right click on the icon for your printer and select "printer properties" from the drop down menu. Then click on the device settings tab, scroll down until you see device type and change it to color. If you do not see these options it is possible that a non-HP driver such as a Microsoft IPP driver is installed.

What happens if you click the color management tab that is visible in your screenshot?

When I click on it, doesn't offer up related to printer.  My IT support did the same thing without be able to fix the issue.

You are so kind in trying to help me resolve.  I sincerely appreciate your help.  It has been really upsetting to me that I spent over two hours of my day today with my IT support only for them to say they couldn't fix.  Could it be that my Windows 10 was updated and this caused an issue with the printer setting since previously it was printer ok and the color prompt was available?
