Apparently back in February 2022 HP downloaded firmware into my printers, one at my home and one at my office, to prevent the use of compatible cartridges.
There was a way to back out of that particular update but HP made the website take down the fix.[Content Removed]
HP has stolen control of my printers away from me and mandated that I use only the products they provide. This was not what I agreed to when I purchased this printer.
Does anyone know if HP has decided to allow people to back out of this firmware update and allow use of compatible cartridges.
