Connect a laser jet m234sdwe only through USB

HP Recommended
HP Laser Jet M234SDWE
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have tried all the guides and setups and cannot get the printer to connect via USB. The computer finds it but have no drivers and the site only refers to HP Smart setup.

Is there av way to either connect via USB and Smart setup or just get the drivers and do a manual install?

If you are looking for usb only printing, you have purchased the wrong product. This mode, which is a managed, device requires a network connection to function and that fact is clearly stated on the box. You should have purchased a M234SDW.

Hi,

An HP Plus printer requires internet connection, only once connected can be used with a USB cable to a computer.

This is an HP+ printer. It requires an HP account, connection to the internet, and exclusive use of Original HP Toner cartridges for the life of the printer. More at:
